The GNU Directory is intended for individuals to add their departed loved ones name into an online directory which will keep their names being spoken and keep their memory alive

Here are our T&C’s in a nutshell:

• All new GNU’s will be checked by an editor. This is so we can proof-read content for spelling  & grammatical errors.
• All GNU’s are live immediately and we do not charge.
• Only Sir Terry Pratchett is FEATURED.
• It is your responsibility to update your GNU should any information change.
• Location is required
• It is your responsibility to ensure you have the rights to use any image uploaded.
• We reserve the right to reject any GNU’s that we do not deem appropriate for the site.
• If you wish to cancel your membership at any time you must notify us in writing at gnu@sendinghome.online

Definitions and Interpretation

Intellectual Property

All Content included on the Website, unless contained in GNU’s, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of sendinghome.online, or our affiliates.  By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

You will not systematically copy Content from the Website with a view to creating or compiling any form of comprehensive collection, compilation, directory or database unless given express written permission to do so.

This Website may contain links to other sites. Sending A GNU on the Website

When submitting a Listing to the Website you should do so in accordance with the following rules:

Your GNU must be placed with good faith. Must not be abusive, or inflammatory or contain offensive language.

You acknowledge that Sending Home Online or any of its editors shall screen, approve (or reject), edit and/or remove any GNU submitted to the Website.

Sending Home Online may edit your GNU without prior consultation.  In cases of severe breaches your GNU may be removed and your Account may be suspended or terminated.  

In order to submit a GNU, you are required to submit certain personal details.  By continuing to use this Website you represent and warrant that:

•  any information you submit is accurate and truthful; and
• you will keep this information accurate and up-to-date.

By sending a GNU you warrant and represent that you are the author of that GNU or that you have acquired all of the appropriate rights and / or permissions to submit it.  We accepts no responsibility or liability for any infringement of third party rights by such GNU’s or Content.

We will not be liable in any way or under any circumstances for any loss or damage that you may incur as a result of such GNU’s, nor for any errors or omissions in GNU’s.  Use of and reliance upon GNU’s is entirely at your own risk.

Accounts 

In order to post a GNU on this Website you must create an Account which will contain certain personal details.  By creating an Account you represent and warrant that:

• all information you submit is accurate and truthful; and
• you will keep this information accurate and up-to-date.

If you terminate a GNU and/or your Account, your GNU(s) will be removed.

Privacy

Use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these terms and conditions by this reference.

Whilst every reasonable endeavour has been made to ensure that all information provided on this Website will be accurate and up to date, we makes no warranty or representation that this is the case.  We make no guarantee of any specific results from the use of our services.

Availability of the Website and Modifications
